Gambas Pil Pil with a Mellow Yellow twist! These Garlic and Chilli Prawns, are a classic Spanish tapas dish. Our recipe is made with raw prawns cooked in Mellow Yellow Chilli Oil, garlic and served with bread to soak up the delicious, spicy sauce.

225g raw prawns
60ml Mellow Yellow Chilli Oil
3 garlic cloves (sliced)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsb salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Flat leaf parsley to garnish
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Give the Mellow Yellow Chilli Oil a good shake to mix up the chilli flakes and pour a generous covering (about 60ml) into an oven proof dish. Add the sliced garlic, the smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
Stir well and put in the oven at 220°C for 6-8 minutes until the garlic is sizzling and has softened.
Remove from the oven, add the raw prawns and give it a good stir to coat them thoroughly, then return to the oven for another 6-8 minutes or until the prawns have just turned opaque and pink so that they remain perfectly juicy and tender.
Sprinkle with some fresh parsley and enjoy your prawns with plenty of crusty bread to dip in the delicious sauce.
